The 16th Newquay Heron Junior and Senior Open Tournament ran last week from Sunday 26th to Friday 31st May attracting players from all over the country. There was a good entry and tough rounds throughout the week.
Holly Drew (Penzance) and Nick Peters (Redruth) won the Open Mixed Doubles and she and her partner Alice Gamman (from Lincolnshire) also won the 18&U Girls Doubles and got to the semis of the Open Womens Doubles! Well done Holly!
Will Stirling (Penzance) also had a great day and he and his partner Leighton Starkie (Devon) won the U14s Boys Doubles. Well done Will!
