Return to Play Guidance
UPDATE: The move to Step 4 on 19 July will see the removal of a large number of restrictions, with no set restrictions on how many people can take part in sport and physical activity. Ahead of that, and once the Government has published the relevant information, the LTA’s detailed guidance currently in place for venues, coaches, officials and players will be replaced with simple overarching guidance of key considerations, together with an accompanying set of FAQs. This will include answers to any questions relating to Test and Trace, the NHS Covid Pass, social distancing and face coverings.

What does this mean for Penzance Tennis Club?
While we await further detailed guidance from the LTA as of Monday the 19th July the following will be in place at the Club
Regarding the Café/Bar and the Clubhouse, we shall request ALL members and visitors to use outside eating where possible and we still ask for social distancing inside to be maintained. We would prefer masks to be worn when ordering at the counter and will keep the perspex screens in place. Track and trace using the NHS app is requested. We shall be removing the arrows, etc., from the floors and revised signs will be in place to assist.
Avoid indoor crowding.
For the time being the showers will remain closed.
The safety of our members, visitors, volunteers, service providers and staff remains our top priority and we’ll continue to provide hand sanitisers and maintain our high standards of cleanliness. Please consider others who may be more vulnerable. Enhanced cleaning will continue to take place and entry to the clubhouse at such times may be affected.
Your co-operation will be appreciated.
